Elizabeth has been FEM’s Chapter Lead for Connecticut since 2011. She is also the Founder & Managing Partner at Jacob Street Partners.
As the child of a transferee, Elizabeth grew up moving all over the United States. Through this experience, Elizabeth learned firsthand the challenges and anxieties of being the new kid in town- including the importance of corporate housing. In 2002, starting her career in corporate housing by accepting a position with a national temporary housing provider. Later she expanded her knowledge of relocation by working for a premier provider of relocation management, domestic and international household goods services.
In 2010, she founded Jacob Street Partners to simplify insurance for a mobile workforce. By working with different underwriters, Elizabeth and her team developed bespoke solutions to help corporate housing companies and their companies manage risk on a global basis. Currently, Jacob Street provides innovative insurance solutions in all 50 states and 180 countries, including insurance protecting the temporary housing company and their guest against accidental damage, liability, lost or stolen property and bedbug remediation, cancelation protection for those in short term housing, and a variety of other insurance solutions to meet the specific needs of the global mobility industry.
Elizabeth is an active member of many industry associations, including the Forum for Expatriate Management, the Worldwide Employee Relocation Council (WERC), Corporate Housing Providers Association (CHPA), and the European Relocation Association (EuRA).
