"I Know What Works & What Doesn't in Mobility!"
Visionary leader, manager, coach, educator, mentor, editor.
As of early 2025, In-N-Out Burger has entrusted me with heading their corporate relocation program.
It is a tremendous honor to support such a cherished Southern Californian brand on their growth journey. (They are also #2 best employer to work for in the US. That helps.)
In my local community of relocation professionals, I’m spearheading our mentorship program for fellow colleagues. On an exchange student grant, I studied Linguistics and English at the University of East Anglia in Norwich, UK for two semesters.
After immigrating to Southern California, I had different roles in international marketing, and then in operations for a German-American cultural center in Los Angeles. Through this position, I landed the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to co-write a Nobel Prize winner's secretary's memoirs, covering his move into exile from 1930s Europe (see "Publications" below).
My mobility career began as a Global Relocation Consultant at Cartus and subsequently another five years at Lexicon Relocation as a Senior Mobility Counselor.
Promoted to operations manager, I then led a team of domestic and international Relocation Consultants at Sterling Lexicon (formerly Lexicon Relocation) for the next nine years.
In 2024, I was under contract as a trainer in the English literature and linguistics fields for OpenAI – an experience that had little to do with mobility but deepened my understanding of the capabilities of ChatGPT.
Enhancing my presence in the mobility industry, I guested on over 60 YouTube shows in both the US and Europe on corporate mobility, leadership, and improvement for a richer work experience.
An engaging storyteller, presenter, and subject matter expert, I happily communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders.
