Mauricio Chavez, Global Mobility Senior Manager, Becton, Dickinson, and Company (BD)

Mauricio is currently the Global Mobility Manager at Becton, Dickinson, and Company based in San Diego, CA. He joined the company in 2015 and has participated in multiptle M&As and policy, program, and vendor harmonizations. Recent Global Mobility focus includes leveraging technology to improve associate expereince and facilitate program admiinistration.  

Prior to BD, Mauricio was the GM Partner with Smurfit Kappa, an international leader in the corrugate industry from 2009-2014. An alumni of Boston University (BA Intl Relations) and Colegio de la Frontera Norte, Mexico (MA Development Studies) Mauricio also has Graduate Certificates from University of Cincinnati (Gender Studies) and Cornell University (HR Leadership). Additionally, Mauricio has worked overseas in Japan as an English teacher and in Spain at the Spanish Commission for Development CODESPA.
