Corporate Awards
These awards are open to in-house corporates only - all Global Mobility and HR professionals who manage overseas assignments within their own organization or company.
They are FREE to enter and can only be entered by a corporate professional or by a service provider on behalf of the corporate, with their permission.
Best Redesign of a Global Mobility Strategy
Awarded to the Global Mobility programme that has undergone the most successful reform of their wider strategy.
Entries should include:
- Evaluation of previous strategy and what wasn’t working/needed improvement and why
- An outline of the new strategy and steps taken to implement it
- Evidence of the positive impact on stakeholders and the wider business
Best Talent Mobility Strategy
Awarded to the Global Mobility program that has demonstrated the best use of cross-border opportunities for attracting top-talent.
Entries should include:
- How your organization attracts, develops and retains talent
- How your talent mobility program aligns with overall business strategy
- Evidence of how Global Mobility is supporting business growth
Global Mobility Team of the Year
Awarded to the in-house global mobility/international assignments/HR team with an assignment population that has demonstrated a best in place ability to deliver objectives and benefits supporting the business strategies of their organization.
Entries should include:
- Your team’s strengths
- Details of challenges overcome and innovations made
- Evidence of the team’s achievements and positive impact on the wider business
Outstanding Corporate Agility or Crisis Management
Awarded to the Global Mobility team or individual who have demonstrated outstanding levels of agility, resourcefulness and resilience. This may include excellence in duty of care, policy redesign (such as virtual assignments or other policy changes), communication and employee engagement, cost containment and delivery of business objectives.
Entries should include:
- How you or your team reacted to a particular challenge or crisis – so please outline the challenge (eg. Restructuring, cost constraints or geo-political events) and give details of your strategy and results.
- Tell the judges how you adapted your policies and program to ensure the delivery of business goals
- Evidence of achievements and positive impact on the business overall
Awards Open to All
These awards are open to all practicing Global Mobility and HR professionals and their organizations and companies as well as all service providers.

Best Business Travel Management
Awarded to the Global Mobility program or provider that has implemented the best practice for managing a business traveller population.
Entries should include:
- How your policies, practices or systems have improved business travel management and efficiency and impacted the wider business.
- How your assignee/employee/client travellers' experience has been improved.
- Evidence of improved cost containment, compliance, risk management and/or duty of care.
Best Employee Experience & Engagement
Awarded to the Global Mobility program or service provider that has improved the experience of its assignees through its policies, benefits or career and talent development and by going above and beyond the standard levels of duty of care.
Entries should include:
- How your policies and practices have improved assignee/employee experience and engagement and delivered higher levels of retention and benefit to the wider business
- Evidence of improved well-being & mental health, or how your organization has delivered its duty of care
- Evidence of improved levels of diversity and inclusion in your organization’s workforce
Best Global Mobility Sustainability Initiative of the Year
Awarded to the Global Mobility in-house corporate team or service provider that has demonstrated outstanding levels of resourcefulness and care in terms of sustainability.
Entries should include any of the following:
- Evidence of excellence in minimising environmental impact
- Improving equality, diversity and inclusion
- Increasing responsible consumption and production
Best Partnership Between a Corporate Organization and a Service Provider
Awarded to the corporate and provider relationships that demonstrate the best delivery of service to the assignee and the business in order to support the organization strategy. Entries should clearly demonstrate the relationship between the corporate client and the service provider and may be submitted by the corporate or provider side, but both parties must be named and give their full permission for the entry.
Entries should include:
- Details of how the partnership has worked and evidence of the benefits of the partnership including any cost optimization
- Evidence of the positive impact on stakeholders and the wider business
- Evidence of client (corporate organization) or employee satisfaction and value
Best Partnership Between Two Service Providers
Awarded to the partnership of two service providers that combine to deliver best in class service to their corporate clients. Entries should clearly demonstrate the relationship between the two suppliers, but most importantly, the impact of their combined offerings. Entries may be submitted by either company in the partnership, but both parties must be named and give their full permission for the entry.
Entries should include:
- Details of how the partnership has worked and evidence of the benefits of the partnership to corporate clients
- Evidence of innovation and efficiencies created by the partnership
- Testimonials of client (corporate organization) or employee satisfaction and value
Most Innovative Use of Technology in Global Mobility - Assignee Management
Awarded to the organization that is providing best in class innovation or inventively using technology to bring benefit to the assignee and/or their organization in the management of mobility programs.
Entries should include:
- Explanation of the need for the technology and the aim of the system
- Evidence of the positive impact on stakeholders and the wider business
- Testimonials of client (corporate organization) or employee satisfaction and value
Most Innovative Use of Technology in Global Mobility - Bespoke Solutions
Awarded to the organization that is providing best in class innovation and created a product or systems solution to a specific problem within mobility.
Entries should include:
- Evidence that it addresses a key need/needs within the global mobility market that was previously unavailable
- It can be for a single purpose (for example tax compliance) but it should display comprehensive functionality and be user-friendly

Proof of value for money or significant cost optimization
Thought Leadership – Best Survey or Research Study of the Year
Awarded to the organization that has produced the leading, most relevant, innovative or comprehensive research on a topic within global mobility. Please specify if any partner organizations have been involved and ensure that you have permission from the other party to enter.
Entries should include:
- A copy of or link to downloadable copy of the research study,survey or report
- The methodology used and details of the survey
- A clear explanation of the aim of the research and whether this was achieved
- Evidence of the impact of the research or study on stakeholders or wider audience
Service Provider Awards
These awards are open to organisations and companies that provide services to Global Mobility and HR professionals and their companies. (for example, relocation management services, immigration or tax advice, removals, technology solutions, corporate housing, cultural training etc.).
Best Banking, Tax or Financial Services Provider of the Year
Awarded to the Awarded to the Expatriate Banking, Tax or Financial Services provider that has demonstrated best in class banking, tax or innovative financial services.
Entries should include:
- Evidence of excellence in providing personal banking or tax provision for expatriates and compliance with all appropriate regulations and secure systems
- Demonstrated excellence in providing financial management for organizations (may include delivering mobility tax and social security planning, country set-up, or establishment of new entities, compliance and support, wealth management, financial wellbeing planning advice for employees, payroll solutions, pension administration and services, multiple currency handling etc.)
- Proof/ testimonials of client (company and/or assignee) satisfaction and value
Best Compensation or Benefits Provider of the Year
Awarded to the compensation or benefits provider that has demonstrated best in class or innovative services.
Entries should include:
- Evidence of excellence in providing compensation or benefits to assignees or business travellers and compliance with all appropriate regulations and secure systems
- Demonstrated excellence in providing compensation and benefits management for organizations
- Evidence of client (company and/or assignee) satisfaction and value
Corporate Housing Provider of the Year
Awarded to the corporate housing provider, large or small, that has demonstrated best in class corporate housing support for their clients and their internal assignee population in the last year. This includes long-term and short-term lettings.
Entries should include:
- Evidence of excellence in providing or managing a system of accommodation for short or extended periods
- Meeting quality standards and duty of care
- Proof/ testimonials of corporate client (organization) and employee satisfaction and demonstrated value
Destination Services Provider of the Year
Awarded to the Destination Services Provider that has demonstrated best in class service destination services provided to their clients and their internal assignee population in the past year. This includes providers who assist with home search, school search, settling-in and departures, temporary accommodation, cultural awareness, spouse partner assistance etc.
Entries should include:
- Evidence of services delivered and employee satisfaction
- Details of improved efficiencies or cost savings if appropriate
- Proof of the positive impact on stakeholders and the wider business
Immigration Provider of the Year
Awarded to the Immigration Provider, large or small, that has demonstrated best in class immigration support and compliance for their clients and their internal assignee population in the last year.
Entries should include:
- Evidence of excellence in providing expert immigration and business travel advice and support to organizations and employees Employment verifications, document and transactional support
- Advisory and advocacy support for organizations that may be impacted by existing immigration regulations or proposed changes to immigration laws and policies
International Health, Wellbeing or Security Management Provider of the Year
Awarded to the healthcare and/or security risk management provider that has demonstrated best in class support and compliance for their clients.
Entries should include:
- Evidence of excellence in providing or managing healthcare or security support or insurance
- Evidence of excellence in providing training, consulting, monitoring and assistance
- Evidence of delivering innovative health (including mental health and wellbeing), travel or security risk solutions
International Moving Company of the Year
Awarded to the international moving company that has demonstrated best in class removal service to their clients and their internal assignee population in the last year.
Entries should include:
- Evidence of excellence in the management of moving goods (may include pet relocation)
- Compliance with all shipping and customs requirements and tracking and security of all items
- Testimonials of client (company) and assignee satisfaction and value
Outstanding Agility or Crisis Management as a Service Provider
Awarded to the Global Mobility service provider company or individual who have demonstrated outstanding levels of agility, resourcefulness and resilience in response to business callenes or geo-political events. This may include excellence in duty of care, policy redesign (such as virtual assignments or other policy changes), communication and employee engagement, cost containment and delivery of business objectives.
Entries should include:
- How you or your company reacted to the challenge or crisis and adapted – so you should detail your communications strategy and how you assisted your clients
- Tell the judges how you adapted your services to deal with the situations and ensure the delivery of your clients’ goals
- Evidence of achievements and positive impact overall
Relocation Management Company of the Year
Awarded to the relocation management company that has demonstrated the provision of best in class relocation support service provided to their clients and their internal assignee population in the past year.
Entries should include:
- Evidence of services delivered, improvements in processes and employee satisfaction
- Details of improved efficiencies or cost savings if appropriate
- Testimonials of the positive impact on stakeholders and the wider business
Individual Awards
These awards are open to all practicing Global Mobility and HR professionals and their organizations and companies as well as all service providers. Individuals can be nominated or can make their own entry.
These awards are FREE for all to enter
Global Mobility Rising Star of The Year
This award is open to individuals from either a service provider or Corporate HR background who are in their first five years of working in the Global Mobility Industry, but who have been working in the industry for at least a year.
They will be regarded by their colleagues and peers as having made a significant impact in the early years of their career, clearly showing exceptional abilities and be destined to be one of the “movers and shakers” in our industry for the future.
The judges are looking for evidence of excellent assignee care/customer service and outstanding achievements with regard to such features as quality of service delivery, innovation and knowledge.
Entries should include:
- Evidence of a thirst for knowledge and a demonstrated willingness and ability to learn
- Details of challenges overcome, problem-solving and fresh-thinking
- Evidence of outstanding service delivery to clients or assignees and the wider business
Global Mobility Professional of the Year (CHOSEN BY YOU)
Once again, this award will be nominated & judged by the FEM Global Mobility community – YOU.
The process is simple just fill out a few questions below and the successful shortlist will be published on the FEM website for the Global Mobility Community to vote for their winner.
This award is open to individuals from either a service provider or Corporate HR background who have worked in excess of five years in the Global Mobility industry. Nominees should have a significant, consistent record of achievement with regard to such features as quality of service delivery, innovation, knowledge, excellent customer service and overall professional reputation.
Winners in this category are those likely to be considered for the Outstanding Contribution Award in future years.
