Diem Allis is Senior HR Manager over Global Mobility & Compensation at American Bureau of Shipping (ABS). With over two decades of experience, she is a highly accomplished and skilled global mobility and compensation leader with extensive knowledge of international assignment management and a passion for continuous process improvement in the face of ever-changing policies, procedures, guidelines, regulations and systems.
She started her career in public accounting with Price Waterhouse in their International Assignment Solutions group where she handled expatriate tax compliance and consulting. Prior to joining ABS in 2017, Diem has held progressive roles in Global Mobility, HRIS, Payroll and Tax at EMAS Chiyoda Subsea, McDermott International, GE Oil & Gas Pressure Control, and Expro Group.
Diem has dedicated her time over the last decade as a volunteer with the Texas SHRM Global HR Conference. She currently holds the position of Assistant Conference Director on the committee. The global conference is an annual educational event for HR leaders and practitioners. She is also on the Corporate Advisory Panel with Houston Relocation Professionals (HRP). She holds certifications as a Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR) and a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).
Diem is a graduate of the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting.
