Riki Takeuchi currently holds Dr. Joseph Picken Distinguished Chair in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Naveen Jindal School of Management. He is an elected fellow of American Psychological Association, Association for Psychological Science, and Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Prior to this appointment, he was a full professor at Hong Kong University of Science & Technology where he had started his career in January, 2004. He received his PhD in Human Resources Management from University of Maryland, College Park in December, 2003, and received Early Career Contribution Award from SIOP in 2010. He also served as an associate editor for Academy of Management Journal (2013-2016). His current research revolves around strategic human resource management/human capital, international/cross-cultural adjustment, and social exchange relationships at work.
